This is a director’s cut as the official version for England doesn’t have the girl on the toilet or any underwater shots (MTV UK has a thing about drowning).

Technical notes: DP/Edit - me. Shot most of it with a single aurosoft light. I was playing around with static cameras and compositions and seeing how I could build energy with extreme restraint.

When this video came out, no one liked it. Muse fans were confused. I don’t even think Muse liked it. But it’s one of my favorite videos I’ve done.

A chorus of women are borne from the movements of a single dancer in this dreamlike “pas de trente-deux.”
“Choros” premiered at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2012 and has gone on to play dozens of festivals worldwide. The film is currently broadcast in Europe by Canal+.
